Refund policy

These terms are the agreement for the Introductory Offer bought on fredastairerichmondhill.ca. Your order confirmation email repeats the key details and is your written copy of this agreement.

The offer

  • What you get: two (2) private dance lessons of 30 minutes each at Fred Astaire Dance Studios Richmond Hill, 13311 Yonge St #111, Richmond Hill, ON L4E 3L6.
  • Price: $99.00 CAD plus 13% HST ($12.87), total $111.87, paid in full at checkout.
  • Who can buy: new students only. One offer per person; a couple may share the two lessons.
  • Booking: after your purchase we will contact you within 2 business days to book your lessons. The lessons must be booked and taken within 90 days of your purchase. Lessons not taken within 90 days expire.

Your 10-day cancellation right

You may cancel this agreement for any reason within 10 days after you receive the written copy of it (your order confirmation email). Tell us by email to info@fredastairerichmondhill.ca, by phone at 905-773-2555 or in person. We will refund the full amount you paid, including HST, within 15 days of your cancellation, to your original payment method.

After the 10 days

If you give us written notice after the 10-day period but before 90 days from your purchase, we will refund 80% of the remaining portion of the price. The remaining portion is calculated by charging any lessons you have already taken at the full regular price, without discounts or bonuses, and deducting that from the amount you paid. Any amount we keep under this policy is agreed to be kept as liquidated damages and not as a penalty.

Example: you cancel on day 30 without having taken a lesson: we refund 80% of $99.00 = $79.20, plus the matching HST.

If we cannot provide the lessons (for example if the studio closes), we will refund you for the lessons not provided.

Rescheduling

Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a booked lesson. A lesson missed without notice counts as taken.

Your rights

These terms do not limit any rights you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act. If anything here conflicts with that Act, the Act applies.
